Romazava is a delicious and traditional meal from Madagascar, a stunning island. Ingredients

Onion (chopped)

Beef or pork (cut into small pieces)

Garlic (minced)

Vegetable oil

Tomatoes (diced)

Beef or pork broth

Parsley (chopped)

Chives (chopped)

Spinach

Green chillies

Salt and pepper


Preparation

  • Heat the vegetable oil over medium heat in a large pot.
  • Pour the onions and garlic into it, and sauté for a few minutes.
  • Add the tomatoes and allow to cook for some time.
  • Add the beef or pork, and cook until the meats are browned on all sides.
  • Add the beef or pork broth, reduce the heat and allow to simmer for about 1 hour.
  • Add the chopped spinach to the pot once the meat is well cooked.
  • Add the parsley and chives to the stew, stir and add salt and pepper.
  • Allow simmering for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with bread or rice.
