Madagascar's Romazava recipe (stew)

Onion (chopped)
Beef or pork (cut into small pieces)
Garlic (minced)
Vegetable oil
Tomatoes (diced)
Beef or pork broth
Parsley (chopped)
Chives (chopped)

Preparation
- Heat the vegetable oil over medium heat in a large pot.
- Pour the onions and garlic into it, and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add the tomatoes and allow to cook for some time.
- Add the beef or pork, and cook until the meats are browned on all sides.
- Add the beef or pork broth, reduce the heat and allow to simmer for about 1 hour.
- Add the chopped spinach to the pot once the meat is well cooked.
- Add the parsley and chives to the stew, stir and add salt and pepper.
- Allow simmering for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with bread or rice.
