Shipping Policy for The Afrikan Store:
At The Afrikan Store, we strive to provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible. As such, we offer fast and reliable shipping services to all our customers. We ship all across the United Kingdom, and our shipping options include same-day, next-day and standard delivery options.
Standard Delivery:
Orders placed will get to you within 3-5 working days if ordered before 10 AM . Please note that orders placed after 10 AM BST will be processed on the next business day as such the shipping period will not count from the day you ordered but from the day it was processed which will take 3-5 business days.
Shipping Charges:
Our shipping charges vary depending on the weight and destination of your order. Shipping charges will be calculated at checkout, and you will have the option to choose between standard, next-day, or same-day delivery.
Shipping Restrictions:
Please note that we are unable to ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international addresses. Additionally, some items may be restricted from shipping due to their perishable nature or other reasons.
Order Tracking:
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this tracking number to track your order's delivery status on our website.
Order Changes and Cancellations:
If you need to make changes to your order or cancel it, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that once an order has been processed and shipped, we are unable to make any changes or cancellations.
Fresh Food
Please note that no orders are processed or shipped at weekends, as a result fresh products ordered after 12 noon on Thursday and anytime on Friday for next day delivery will not be processed until Monday so your order doesn’t sit at the couriers depot over the weekend. The same applies to orders placed after 12 noon the day before a bank holiday. We do this because we want you to receive your products fresh.
Please note that couriers are ordered to leave parcels with fresh or frozen products outside your door, with a neighbour or in a safe place if no one is home. We do not accept liability for parcels left in these places and advice you to ensure you are home on the day to receive the parcel if they include fresh or frozen products.
