  • 1 teaspoon Salt (or to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric
  • 2 cloves of Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 Medium Onion (chopped)
  • 1 kg Potatoes peeled and parboiled
  • ½ teaspoon Piri Piri Chili Sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Grounded Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Grounded Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Tomato Puree
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Saute the onions in medium-hot oil, then add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds
  2. Add all the ground spices, and fry for 1 minute
  3. Add the tomato puree, lemon, parsley and salt to it.
  4. You can now cut the parboiled potatoes.
  5. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir well and add ¾ cup of water.
  6. Allow it to cook for 10 minutes (don’t cover it) till the potatoes are tender, check if the sauce has reduced.
  7. You can now serve it!
