Braised rice + Fried egg + Sausages +Sardine = HAPPINESS

Enjoyed with fried egg, sausages and sardines, it’s comforting, delicious and bursting with so much goodness. A 10/10 recommendation. You can’t help but have a second helping! Don’t mind if I do. Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons oil of choice: https://niyis.co.uk/vegetable-oil-tropical-sun/
- 1 cup fragrant white rice: https://niyis.co.uk/island-easy-cook-rice/
- 2 onions, chopped: https://niyis.co.uk/fresh-brown-onion-500g/
- 2 teaspoons salt: https://niyis.co.uk/pegasus-seasoning-salt-1-5kg/
- 1 cube Maggi cube: https://niyis.co.uk/maggi-star-seasoning-cubes/
- 1 red hot pepper, diced: https://niyis.co.uk/sweet-pointed-pepper-sombo/
- 2 cups water
Preparation
- Wash rice, drain with clean water in a minute medium bowl.
- Under medium heat, heat the oil and fry the chopped onions in hot oil in a large saucepan until golden brown. Reserve half of the onion
- Add rice and fry over medium heat for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add the bouillon cube and stir. Add the hot pepper and mix. Add the water and stir well. Cover with lid and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the remaining onion and cook again until the rice is soft and tender. Remove from heat. Serve with hot pepper sauce and fried egg, sausage and sardine.
