  • Assorted meats (beef, goat, chicken)
  • 6  Scotch Bonnet peppers
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 tablespoons of palm oil
  • 2 tablespoons of locust beans
  • Salt and other seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the assorted meats until they are tender and set them aside.
  2. Blend the peppers and onions into a smooth paste using a food processor or blender.
  3. Heat the palm oil in a pot and add the blended pepper and onion paste.
  4. Allow the sauce to cook for 10-15 minutes or until the pepper and onion paste has reduced in size and has lost its raw taste.
  5. Add the cooked meat and locust beans to the pot and stir well.
  6. Allow the sauce to simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until it reaches the desired consistency.
  7. Add salt and other seasonings to taste.
  8. Serve the Ofada sauce hot with Ofada rice.
