Ghanaian Abele Walls Recipe

Abele Walls brings back lots of childhood memories for many Ghanaians, as it is sold in front of many schools by vendors when the closing bell rings. It is said that the British company, Unilever, introduced the frozen dessert called the Wall’s Ice cream to the people of Ghana. The company was then located in the Greater Accra Region, densely populated by the Ga people. The Gas referred to anything with a delicious taste as Abele (corn i.e., sweet corn) and hence the name Abele Walls was birthed. Abele Walls is creamy, delicious, and has a variety of flavours and colours that are all equally as tasty. It’s definitely your go-to recipe if you’re in search of a tasty treat! Say goodbye gloom and hello yum!
